Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Oleksandr Heiets ("I") uses information on heiets.dev and in Channel Pulse, a private YouTube analytics dashboard for channels I own.

Public website

heiets.dev is a personal landing page. It does not have user accounts or a contact form. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights may collect aggregated, privacy-preserving traffic metrics (for example page views and Core Web Vitals). I do not sell this information.

Channel Pulse and Google user data

Channel Pulse is a personal tool. It requests read-only access to YouTube Data API v3, YouTube Analytics API, and YouTube Reporting API for Google accounts and YouTube channels that I already administer.

The data accessed includes channel identity and statistics, video metadata and public counters, comment threads, watch-time and audience metrics, subscriber gains and losses, and thumbnail impression / click-through reports where YouTube makes them available.

That information is used only to display analytics to me in Channel Pulse. It is not used to build profiles of other people, not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with other applications. Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and processors

Analytics snapshots are stored in a private PostgreSQL database (Neon) so historical ranges can be shown. The application is hosted on Vercel. OAuth refresh tokens are stored as server-side environment secrets, not in the browser. These processors host the app; they are not given the data for their own use.

Retention

Daily analytics rows are kept only as long as they are useful for the dashboard (on the order of a year, then rolled up or deleted). I can revoke Channel Pulse's Google access at any time from Google Account permissions.
